Leading Miami Law Firm Bolsters Reputation for Commercial Real Estate Transactional Work

Marin Eljaiek & Lopez, P.L. announced today its participation as legal counsel in two large commercial real estate transactions, totaling over $65.5 million.

“The size of these closings is indicative of our growing real estate work, and ability to help our clients manage complex transactions on any scale,” said Santiago Eljaiek III, partner and head of the firm’s real estate practice. “Our constant aim is to secure the best deal on behalf of our clients and work with them and the opposing side towards a smooth closing within the expected timeframe. The deals in question included:

1. Plantation Key Apartments / Providence Park Apartments
PROPERTY: 982 unit combined sale of two buildings through one seller. 712-unit multi-family apartment complex located at 1918 Plantation Key Circle, Brandon, FL, and a 270 unit building located at 401 Providence Road, Brandon, FL 33511.
SELLER: Plantation Key Associates, a New Jersey General Partnership, and Brandon Park Associates, a Florida General Partnership
BUYER: Plantation Providence, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company
FINANCING: Ares
PRICE $57,000,000

2. Cleveland Heights Apartments:
PROPERTY: 236 unit multi-family apartment complex located at 3520 Cleveland Heights Blvd. Lakeland, FL 33803
SELLER: 3520 Cleveland Heights, LLC, A Florida Limited Liability Company
BUYER: Cleveland Heights, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company
FINANCING BB&T
PRICE: $8,650,000
